The world just voted for women’s rights. The United States voted no. This isn’t a glitch in the system. It is the system. From global votes to local bans, from think tanks to court decisions, there is a coordinated effort to push women back into dependence and call it “family values.” If you’re angry, you’re paying attention. Don’t let this disappear into the news cycle. Talk about it. Share it. And vote like they’ve already told you your rights are negotiable. Because they have. #womensrights #womensrightsarehumanrights #patriarchyispolicy #votelikewecount

What would your life look like if you didn’t have to choose? After 250 years of American history, the country still runs on women’s unpaid and underpaid care. Women across generations, including mothers, grandmothers, care workers, daughters, and chosen family, have always been the quiet infrastructure beneath every milestone. As we honor #WomenHistoryMonth by celebrating our progress, we must imagine and work towards a future where real support for women means not having to make impossible choices every day. Tell us what choice you’re being forced to make right now.

It’s Women’s History Month and I’m celebrating you. Today’s women. The modern, living, working woman. Because despite all the misogyny, the sexism, and the insanity going on around us right now, the laws protecting women in the workplace have never been stronger. Never. Despite what you’re seeing in the zeitgeist, the laws haven’t changed a whit. The courts are open. Forget what the EEOC is doing. They don’t matter. They never did. Pregnancy protections have never been better. The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act of 2023 is a total game changer. You’re pregnant, you work for a company with 15 employees, you’re covered. You’re entitled to reasonable accommodation. Pregnancy itself is now a protected status under federal law. And menopause protections? Also never been better - and getting stronger. That’s next. Know your rights. Honor yourself by knowing the laws. Empower yourself. Hold your company accountable. If you want to keep women out of power (without admitting to it) celebrate “progress”: * Talk up women’s educational gains so that we don’t see the US gender pay gap widening for the second consecutive year (with even more egregious gaps for women of color). * Have us cheer for a single woman breaking through the famed “glass ceiling” so that we don’t notice the rate of women hired into leadership falling for the third year in a row. * Have us celebrate the surge in women starting their own businesses so that we don’t recognize it as an indicator of how much traditional employment continues to fail women and push them out of economic security (especially Black women and mothers of young children, among the already most economically marginalized). * Commemorate men’s daily household contributions hitting an all-time high, so that we stop talking about the fact that US women are carrying nearly twice as much unpaid labor as their male peers at the expense of their own needs, security and wellbeing. * Have us marvel at the potential of the next generation so that we don’t question why that potential hasn’t translated into equitable rewards for the generations of “empowered girls” that preceded them — or why they have fewer reproductive rights than their mothers. These actively cultivated misperceptions, that gender equity has already been achieved and that bias against women is no longer an issue, are not only becoming more prevalent, they are also tied to misogynistic attitudes and support for the kinds of policies that drive gender discrimination in the first place. As such, chapter two of my book THE AMBITION PENALTY is titled “”The Future Is Female” – But Never Today”. Not because I’m without hope for the future, but because I’m committed to a future with different outcomes, and I know we won’t get there with more of the same old myths of ‘inevitable progress’ and broken promises of ‘empowerment.’ Grab your copy of the book (and my new playbook for building something better) at ambitionpenalty.com

It's 2026 and women are still earning less than men for the same work. Even in women-dominated fields, like education and health care, women earn less than men. This is unacceptable. I will continue to push for change and create a world where every woman gets what she's owed.

Women experienced significant, widespread suffering in 2025 across economic, social, and safety metrics. Key issues included a major labor market slowdown with nearly half a million women exiting the U.S. workforce, intensified global violence, 10% of women living in extreme poverty, and significant regressions in reproductive rights. @plannedparenthood It’s International Women’s History Month. Women still earn 83¢ for every $1 a man makes, and for women of color, it’s even less. THAT is why we’re still fighting for women’s rights. There are a million others reasons, like healthcare access, representation, and basic respect. Today is a celebration, but it’s also a reminder that the fight isn’t over!! #reels #explore #feminism

“Women and girls have never been closer to equality—and never closer to losing it” ~ UN Women UK Those that came before us fought for the rights we have today, liberties were never granted to us without a full-scale campaign. Led by women, for women. Those freedoms are not set in stone, what can be given can be taken away. We simply can’t afford to be bystanders. But this isn’t women’s burden to carry alone, we need everyone to start speaking up. Individual action that is meaningful and tangible, on a large scale, all adds up. 1️⃣ CONTACT YOUR MP / VOTE FOR THOSE WHO SUPPORT ALL WOMEN. A simple step to have your voice heard and represented. If there are parliamentary debates or committee meetings or topics you want your MP to speak on your behalf, tell them! 2️⃣ CALL IT OUT. Misinformation spreads like a disease, slow and insipid. If you see or hear anything that isn’t correct - and it’s safe to do so - call it out. Ask for clarity, expansion, or evidence to support any misinformation. Online and offline. Or simply report and/or unfollow any account that supports harmful content. 3️⃣ SPEND WISELY. Money does indeed talk. But so does attention and engagement. Lend your support to women owned and led charities and businesses. Authors, artists, small brands, grassroots community groups all need amplification. 4️⃣ STAY INFORMED. Charities and organisations that have women’s rights and equality at the forefront always have updates to share. Signing up to email updates can be preferable and easier to digest compared to overconsumption on social media. We don’t have to do everything, but we all have to do something. #womensrights #genderequality #womensupportingwomen
