Comment “speed” you get more plan about exercise. 1️⃣ Warm-up (Never skip this) Do 5–10 minutes before running: • High knees – 30 sec • Butt kicks – 30 sec • Leg swings (front & side) – 10 each • Light jogging – 2–3 min This wakes up your muscles and prevents injury. ⸻ 2️⃣ Improve Running Technique Small fixes = big speed gains: • Posture: Chest up, slight forward lean • Arms: Bend at 90°, swing forward–back (not side to side) • Stride: Short & quick steps (don’t over-stride) • Foot strike: Land mid-foot, push back fast Think: quick feet, relaxed upper body. ⸻ 3️⃣ Speed-Building Exercises (Very Important) 🔹 Sprint Intervals • Sprint 20–40 meters • Walk back slowly • Repeat 6–10 times Do this 2–3 days/week. 🔹 Hill Sprints • Run uphill hard for 10–20 sec • Walk down • 5–8 rounds Great for power and acceleration. ⸻ 4️⃣ Strength Exercises for Fast Running Do 3 sets each: • Squats • Lunges • Calf raises • Glute bridges • Plank (30–60 sec) Strong legs + strong core = more speed. ⸻ 5️⃣ Breathing Technique • Breathe deep from the belly, not shallow chest breaths • Try rhythm: 2 steps inhale – 2 steps exhale ⸻ 6️⃣ Recovery = Speed • Stretch after running • Sleep well 😴 • Take at least 1 rest day per week #physiolife #physiotherapy #running #homeplan #doctor
