Those "wave-like" clouds in the second video are a rare and stunning meteorological phenomenon called Kelvin-Helmholtz clouds. The "Wave" Effect: They look like breaking ocean waves in the sky. They occur when two different layers of air move at different speeds. The top layer moves faster than the bottom layer, "scooping" the cloud into those beautiful curls. These clouds are often cited as the inspiration for the swirls in Vincent van Gogh's famous painting, "The Starry Night." Nature and human agility are both pretty incredible, aren't they?

In 2018, a massive thunderstorm over Oklahoma produced something extremely rare — a gigantic jet. Unlike normal lightning that strikes downward, this one blasted upward, shooting nearly 50 miles into space! ⚡🚀 These gigantic jets punch through the atmosphere, reaching the edge of space where the air becomes almost vacuum. Scientists call them “inverse lightning,” and they’re so rare that only a handful have ever been recorded on camera. This moment revealed just how powerful Earth’s storms can be — literally touching space for a split second. 😳🌌 Follow for more shocking facts 👇 👉 TikTok: @factverse121 👉 YouTube: FactVerse-121 👉 Instagram: @factverse1221 #GiganticJet #Lightning #Oklahoma #ExtremeWeather #SpaceLightning #FactVerse #ScienceFacts #StormFacts #DidYouKnow #Shorts

Clouds can weigh far more than people expect, even though they appear weightless in the sky. A large cloud may contain hundreds of thousands of kilograms of tiny water droplets spread across a huge volume. It stays aloft because each droplet is extremely small and because upward-moving air currents counter downward pull. As droplets collide and merge, they eventually become large enough that gravity overcomes lift, and precipitation begins. So clouds aren’t “light” in total mass — they’re suspended systems balanced by fluid dynamics. This is one of those facts that changes how you look at weather: the atmosphere is constantly moving, storing, and releasing massive amounts of water above our heads. Rain, snow, fog, and storms are all outcomes of phase changes and airflow behavior happening at scale. The sky looks calm sometimes, but physically it’s almost never still. #weather #earthscience #facts #nature
