KISome days I feel like I’m holding everyone at the same time.
Aging parents… growing kids… a home to run… a body that needs more care than it used to… and a mind that never fully shuts off.
That’s the sandwich generation, isn’t it?
It’s a juggling act we didn’t exactly sign up for… but somehow we just do it.
Because that’s what women do.
We nurture. We manage. We remember. We show up.
Even when we’re tired. Even when we’re stretched thin. Even when nobody sees it.
But here’s what I’m learning (and still practicing)…
you can’t pour from an empty cup and still expect it to feel like love.
Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish.
It’s survival.
It’s protection.
It’s how you become the best version of you… so you can keep giving without losing yourself in the process.
So if you’re in this season… juggling it all and doing your best…
