CO✅ Designing Aggregation Pattern for Multiple Microservices
When a user request requires data from three microservices, instead of making the client call each service individually (which increases complexity and latency), you implement an Aggregator Service (API Gateway or Aggregator Microservice).
🔹 Approach:
1. Aggregator Service (Orchestration)
Create a dedicated microservice (or API Gateway layer) that receives the client’s request.
This service internally calls all three microservices, gathers their responses, and combines them into a single response.
Example: If the client requests user profile info → Aggregator fetches User Info, Account Info, and Transaction History and merges them.
2. Parallel Calls for Performance
Use asynchronous & parallel calls (e.g., CompletableFuture in Java, Reactive Streams, or non-blocking I/O) to reduce response time.
Aggregator merges results once all responses are received.
3. Error Handling & Resilience
Implement circuit breaker (Resilience4j/Hystrix) to handle service failures gracefully.
If one service fails, return partial data or a fallback response.
4. Caching (Optional)
Frequently requested combined responses can be cached at the aggregator to reduce load.

Client → Aggregator Service → {Service A + Service B + Service C (parallel)} → Aggregated Response → Client

The operation of integration is the inverse of differentiation. It allows the calculation of total change, given a rate of change, and is widely used in physics, engineering, economics, and data science.
The integral of a function f(x) between two limits a and b gives the total area under the curve from x = a to x = b. This area can be approximated by dividing the region into many narrow rectangles and summing their areas. As the width of each rectangle approaches zero, the approximation converges to the exact value of the definite integral.
Integration can also be understood as the continuous sum of infinitesimal elements. It provides powerful tools for solving problems involving motion, growth, probability, and field distributions. The symbol ∫, introduced by Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, is derived from the elongated ‘S’ standing for “sum.”
