Sometimes I wake up and my body feels like superwoman, and sometimes I wake up and every single rep is a struggle. This was one of those workouts (a struggle… not superwomen lol). It’s important to not put too much emphasis or value into the days that don’t feel amazing, because not every workout is going to be better than the last! That would be crazy! What’s important is that you showed up, you kept moving (despite your mind telling you to stop), and you got it DONE. 👉🏽 If you want more full body workouts like these, comment FULLBODY and I’ll send you a link to my current training program! A beginner’s guide to weight lifting 💪 8–15 reps is the ideal range for building muscle, so choose a weight that lands you there. But with limited equipment, you might go past 15 -and that’s totally fine. Just keep pushing close to failure :) All you need to get started: 1. Two 5-8 lb dumbbells mostly for lightweight arm exercises •Around the Worlds •Front raises •Lateral raises •Serve the Platter •Reverse Fly 2. One 35 lb kettle bell for lower body exercises •Lunges •Squats •RDL’s •Kettle Bell Swings •Hip thrusts with kettle bell on hips 3. One 15 lb dumbbell for all the in-between moves -perfect for when 8 lb dumbbells feel too light and the 35 lb kettlebell feels too heavy. •Hammer Curls •Tricep Overhead Extension •Weighted Ab Exercises •One Arm Row •Bicep Curls I believe these weights give you a good starting point and enough range to increase weight as you go :) For example, you might start with a lighter weight and do 15 reps. Once that becomes easy and you can do more reps (say 25) you can graduate to a slightly heavier weight. At first, that heavier weight might only let you do 8 reps, and that’s totally fine. Then, over time, you can work your way up to more reps. This is how you gradually challenge your muscles and keep making progress, even with limited equipment! #weightlifting #weightliftingforbeginners #workoutvideo
