LET’S MAKE ALL OF THE CARDS! 🎉 These are the exact steps I take to link content on to our cards. Most music comes from Amazon Music or from thrifted CDs, but I got Listener Kids, Lithos Kids audiobooks and New City Catechism songs from the publisher/artists website for those wondering. If you are going to use physical CDs make sure your computer has a disk drive. If it doesn’t, you’ll need to buy an external one ($20 on amazon!) to rip your CDs onto your computer. Be sure to save this video so you can reference it when it’s time to make your own cards! #yoto #yotoaudioplayer #makeyourowncards

Making your own Yoto cards has been one of our easiest, most loved tools we use in our homeschool and during quiet time. Here’s how we do it: 📚 download any audio file you own (CDs you thrift, library sale finds, Libro.fm deals)
📚 upload the file into the “Make Your Own” section in the Yoto app
📚 tap Link to Card and touch your blank card to your phone done in seconds
📚 add your kiddos’ favorite podcasts by finding the RSS feed & pasting it into the app
📚 thrift friendly tip: rip CDs on your computer, convert to MP3 (free converter online!)
📚 add cover art using a Canva template & vinyl sticker sheets 
🌿 we use MYO cards for: character building stories, seasonal cards, Scripture memory, beloved read alouds not sold as Yoto cards 
🌿 it truly feels like “thrifting audiobooks” when I add to our collection in the cheapest ways I can find 🥰 
🌿 perfect for quiet time, siblings sharing, and independent listening COMMENT “MYO Cards” and I’ll send:

We have so many Yoto cards that belong to a set (Narwhal/Jelly, Brain Bots, Magic Tree House) and these tabs and loops make our collection so organized and easy to use. I also love that the cards can stay on the loop when we are using them in our Yoto mini. My only regret is… not buying these sooner! @yotoplay @yotoplay_us

I know many of you gifted Yoto players to your kids this past Christmas and so I wanted to share my latest passion project for my kids! My kids plow through audiobooks and I quickly realized that using Yoto MYO cards was the easiest and cheapest route for us to listen to content! The brilliant thing about a MYO card is you can switch the content as many times as you need to. Because of this, I needed a way to display a temporary cover so my kids could easily tell what was on each card. Enter the library system!! I printed off covers in the correct size using Canva - I store all the covers and cards in a card binder. I know dressing up a MYO card like this is *extra* but I'm CRAFTY ok??!! 😆 And it was fun to make our "library cards" special. The sticker background was a canva template shared with me via a yoto Facebook group. Dm me if interested in using the customizable sticker background. You don't necessarily need to do the sticker and contact paper, but the plastic sleeve to hold the printed card cover is a must! As well as the plastic tabs to hook onto the key ring to keep track of cards. Happy Yoto-ing!!!
