SA@id.nyc is the best hack to getting access to the best of the city for free! If you are a NYC resident, make sure you get this!
There are never appointments online available so here is how you get it:
1. Fill out their form online and request a @id.nyc representative reach out with availability for appointments. I did this and received a phone call about a week after my email and was able to schedule my meeting over the phone a few weeks later.
2. Go to their @id.nyc walk in office in Brooklyn. @elmundodeluis did this and was able to get his appointment the day of. However, he had to get in line at 6:45am and wait 8 hours at the center. It was extremely time consuming but it is a way to get your appointment the same day. You must show up before 9 (or earlier) because they cut the line off once it reaches a certain amount of people. Luis said there was easily 50 people in line ahead of him when he got there at 6:45am.
As difficult as it is to get it, it is worth it for all the free access and discounts in NYC!
