UQAcfas 2026 : La santé mentale des jeunes à l’ère des grandes transformations 🌪️
À l’occasion du 93e Congrès de l' @acfas du 11 au 15 mai à l’UQTR, la professeure Jacinthe Dion s’intéresse à une génération qui grandit au cœur d’un monde en profond changement.
Entre transformations sociales rapides, omniprésence du numérique et multiplication des vulnérabilités, les jeunes évoluent dans des environnements où les défis se croisent et s’amplifient.
Ses recherches visent à mieux comprendre cette réalité complexe, à identifier les facteurs de protection et à outiller les personnes qui accompagnent les jeunes au quotidien.

OHThere were moments I wasn’t sure I would make it here.
Grant residency.
A fellowship that stretched me to my limits.
Starting my own practice.
Stepping into academic medicine.
Becoming Fellowship Director.
None of it was comfortable.
All of it was necessary.
Every room I walked into, I had to prove myself.
Every standard placed on me was high.
Every expectation was earned.
And I rose to meet it.
This ACFAS conference reminded me why I do this.
Not for titles. Not for recognition.
But for growth. For impact. For the next generation watching.
The mentors ahead of me paved the way sometimes gently, sometimes relentlessly, but always with purpose. They demanded excellence, and it shaped me.
So yes, I have high expectations.
Because excellence was expected of me.
Because average was never an option.
Because this profession deserves our very best.
Every challenge, good or bad, refined me.
Every mentor, tough or kind, strengthened me.
Every friendship in this profession has become part of my foundation.
I am unbelievably grateful.
For the lessons.
For the growth.
For the real ones who stood beside me.
And now, it is my honor to pay it forward.
