COMMENT “YES” and I’ll DM you the full breakdown for both Two of the world’s most elite writing competitions just opened their doors to students as young as Grade 7. For the first time ever, the Cambridge Re:Think Essay Competition has launched a Junior Division ages 11 and above can now compete. It is completely free to enter. Winners receive cash prizes, scholarships, and an invitation to a black-tie awards dinner at King’s College, Cambridge, where a Nobel Prize-winning physicist will take the stage. This is not a participation trophy event. In 2025, over 13,000 students from 50+ countries submitted. Only 33 won. Then there is the Harvard International Review Academic Writing Contest. This one carries a registration fee, and for good reason. Make it to the finals, and you do not just submit an essay. You stand before Harvard judges, deliver a 15-minute live presentation, and defend your argument like a doctoral scholar. That is the bar. Topics span Cybersecurity, Space, Global Politics, Law, and International Affairs. No coaching centre shortcut will carry you through either. These competitions demand your original voice, your original thinking. AI checkers and Defense Day interviews will expose anything less. Parents, if Ivy League or Oxbridge is the goal, this is exactly the profile builder that separates your child at 16 from 10,000 identical applications at 18. The window is open. The question is whether your child will step through it. #StudyAbroad #IvyLeaguePrep #EssayCompetition So, which one would YOU enter?

How to improve academic writing?✅ . Revising a manuscript can be done effectively by following seven key steps. First, master nominalizations by identifying abstract nouns and converting them into active verbs to improve clarity and readability; for example, instead of writing “the analysis of the data revealed,” write “we analyzed the data and found.” Second, clarify the sentence subject by asking what each sentence is truly about and ensuring that this idea appears clearly as the subject, such as replacing “it was found that social media affects behavior” with “this study finds that social media affects behavior.” Third, check sentence links to ensure logical flow by explicitly connecting sentences using transitions like “however” or “in contrast.” Fourth, ensure cohesion within paragraphs by confirming that every sentence supports a single main idea and that the opening and closing sentences address the same topic, such as customer trust or user behavior. Fifth, read the manuscript aloud or use text-to-speech tools to identify awkward phrasing, overly long sentences, or points where the flow breaks down. Sixth, seek feedback from an intelligent outside reader who can identify sections where the argument becomes unclear, for example, a confusing methodology section. Finally, ditch unnecessary words and phrases that do not add meaning, such as “it should be noted,” “very,” or “utilize,” and replace them with concise, direct language to strengthen the overall impact of the text. In this reel, i have shared 7 points that you all must follow for transforming your PhD writing into an academic writing. . #phd #research #phdtips

comment ‘Link’ I will DM you the tool link🔗 How to Paraphrase without plagiarism and with 99% human tone? Follow these steps: 1️⃣Understand First, Rewrite Later - Read the original text, make sure you fully understand it, then put it aside before rewriting in your own words. 2️⃣Change Sentence Structure - Instead of just replacing words, reframe the sentence entirely. Break long sentences into shorter ones or combine ideas differently. 3️⃣Use Synonyms Wisely - Swap out words, but don’t force awkward synonyms. Choose natural replacements while keeping the meaning intact. 4️⃣Switch the Perspective - If the original is in passive voice, try active voice (or vice versa). Change the order of information where it makes sense. 5️⃣Summarize When Possible - Instead of rewriting every detail, condense the key idea in a fresh way. This not only avoids plagiarism but improves clarity. 6️⃣Cite Your Sources - Even if you paraphrase perfectly, you still need to credit the original author. Use proper citation formats to acknowledge their work. 7️⃣Use Al & Plagiarism Checkers - Tools like Jenni can help spot overly similar phrases and ensure your paraphrasing is truly original. Note: Jenni’s Review feature is currently in beta.
