before someone says “you left Christianity for Christianity,” read. I do have my own set of emotions tied to the Catholic Church based on my personal experiences. To each their own, but freedom for me lies in personal relationship with the Lord. I was baptized as a child which I had no say in. Nor did I understand the symbolism behind baptism. I no longer agree with child baptisms. My adult baptism followed by a REPENTANT heart, and my verbal declaration of the gospel out of an adult mouth is what saved me. For reference, Catholicism is a denomination of Christianity. All Catholics are Christians but not all Christians are Catholic. I’m currently non-denominational. My religion is Jesus. The thing is, I believe in Jesus I’ve believed in Jesus for a while. I began my journey with Him in 2021, but what He helped me realize is that there is a huge difference between believing in Him and following Him.
