JEFriday afternoon BWI update: Lines are still long, at least an hour (likely longer). Clear and TSA Pre check are NOT open at the moment, so plan accordingly. BWI official recommend giving yourself at least three hours.

TASpent four hours exploring every corner of BWI Airport before my flight home ✈️🛫
Started in Gate A with some creamy crab dip and an espresso martini at R&R Seafood Bar and Grill — because vacation mode doesn’t end until you’re on the plane 😂
Wandered through Gate B for a quick snack (pesto salad ftw 🥗), and ended up in Gate C at Harbor Grill for a strawberry rose drink and a couple of tacos 🌮🍓
Funny how airports can feel like their own little worlds — new gates, new tastes, and a chance to soak in the calm before heading home.

LIBWI airport Monday 03/23/26 at 4 AM. the bag check-in line is long and the TSA checkpoint barely had a line (so far). if it’s already this busy I can only imagine how hectic the rest of the day will be. def arrive at least 3 hrs ahead of time (maybe even more than that).

When you're man's best friend, traveling by air for the first time can be rough; there's all kinds of new things to see, smell, and hear.
That's why the Roschlis drove all the way from the Eastern Shore to Baltimore-Washington International Airport.
"There's people who need these animals to survive," said Debbie Roschli, a volunteer puppy raiser with @guidingeyes, "and to get around in their daily life."
Monday night at the airport was part of their months of volunteering and raising their pup, Quiche - named like the food. Quiche and about 20 other dogs went through the motions of an airport visit at BWI, getting accustomed to and comfortable with it all.
The pups aren't just the cutest things on the ground and in the air. In a little bit, they'll help folks with visual impairments navigate the world.
