IQFor the first time in recent years, CBSE has cancelled multiple Class 10 board exams in the Middle East due to regional security concerns.
Naturally, many parents are now asking one important question:
How will the results be declared?
At this stage, CBSE has several possible pathways. Results may be calculated using a combination of internal assessments, pre-board exams, periodic tests, practical marks, school records, or a moderation formula similar to what was used during the pandemic years.
There is also another interesting possibility this year.
CBSE has already scheduled Improvement Exams in May, and theoretically, those exams could play a role in determining the final results.
However, it’s important to remember:
These are possibilities - not official decisions yet.
The final clarity will only come through an official CBSE circular.
For many parents, the bigger concern right now is what happens next - especially stream selection after Class 10.
