Keep reading 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 I just came back from meeting with a friend in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and all of the streets were filled with Ceasefire Now and Free Palestine posters. I stood there for a few minutes, looking and reading all of the signs. It’s sad to see how much our world has become so divided when this time, more than anything, should bring us together for one cause— Free Palestine from H@MAS (who is the one continually rejecting these ceasefire deals). As I was in my thoughts about to head on the subway back, I saw the next block the same posters were on the floor. As I walked a few steps further, I saw a man taking these posters down, which you typically see the other way around… His name is Haim and he literally just got back from serving in the IDF three weeks ago. We got to talking and I said I wish I had some hostage posters that I can put up here to which he had in his car. So then for the next 30 minutes we put up hostage posters, reminding the world that this is all happening because there are 134 INNOCENT CIVILIANS being held hostage. To be honest, I was scared how people would react. Some people gave us looks, one person asked us if we think the hostages are ok, and multiple people thanked us. Putting up & taking down posters is not going to end the conflict in the Middle East but I think it’s pretty incredible that a girl from LA and an IDF soldier who just came back from Israel just met on the streets of New York and were able for 30 minutes to bond. 🩵🎗️💙 Help spread the word & Share this video ✨ . . . #fyp #israel #israeli #bringthemhome #bringthemhomenow #antisemitism #jew #jewish #jewisjgirl
