@tasteatlas presents Chocolate Making Process 📍 Ecuador 🇪🇨 Credits: @donrecetass Ecuador produces some of the absolute finest cacao in the entire world. The incredible journey from a fresh tropical pod to rich chocolate is a deeply traditional and rustic process. Local producers harvest the vibrant pods carefully extract the raw cacao beans and gently roast them over an open wood fire. Once perfectly roasted the beans are peeled by hand and ground down using a vintage manual crank mill. This pure and intense cacao paste is then returned to the fire mixed with local spices and milk and stirred into an unbelievably thick chocolate sauce. It is chocolate in its absolute purest and most authentic form making it the ultimate topping for fresh bananas and local strawberries.

Since i just got these cool new tools for chocolate making, lets start by tempering the chocolate with this new chocolate scrapper from @titanionco , super sleek design, very firm grip and flat firm surface makes it very easy and light to scrape and use, while also gives you a trendy look too😎👍 then i use the small offset spatula to create a wing-like effect by tapping the tempered chocolate onto a plastic sheet by spreading it in circular motion, then let it set , and here you go!
