Keep adding flour to your hands if need be. The dough will eventually become silky. Glaze: I had to use oil because I had nothing else but I usually use a little plant milk. Start by soaking your medjool dates in hot water for at least 15 mins, this will make them soft and moist for that fudgy texture. 2. Once soft, add your dates and the rest of the batter ingredients to your food processor and mix until fully combined. 3. Line a tray with parchment paper and add your brownie batter, use a spoon to flatten the top. 4. Refrigerate for 15 mins. 5. Melt your Chocolate chips by using a double boiler method, once melted add in your peanut butter to the bowl and mix until a frosting is formed. 6. Sure, they’re made to survive a cross-country road trip in a semi-truck, but I’d rather feed my family something I can pronounce. Simple. Real. Homemade. And yeah, they taste better too. 💁‍♀️🍔 Recipe 👇🏼 Ingredients - 2 tablespoons rapid rise yeast - 1 cup warm water - 1/3 cup melted coconut oil or butter - 1/4 cup sugar - 1 egg - 1 teaspoon salt - 3 to 3 1/2 cups flour -Sesame seeds optional Directions In a large bowl mix flour, yeast, sugar, and warm water. Add the egg, oil and salt and kneed to form a soft dough. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it until smooth and elastic, about 3 to 5 minutes. No Rise Needed. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and put oil on your hands to shape each piece into a ball. Arrange the balls 3 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Melt butter and brush the tops + Pat sesame seeds gently on top Cover the dough balls with a cloth and let them rise for about 30 minutes. Preheat your oven to 425°F Bake the buns for 8 to 12 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Remove the buns from the baking sheets and place them on a wire rack to cool.
