The 14th Amendment, written in the aftermath of slavery, guarantees birthright citizenship and equal protection under the law. Efforts to stretch beyond its plain language are a clear example of government overreach.

When they created Washington, D.C., they didn’t want ANY state to have power over the nation’s capital… so they made it a federal territory.
That means it’s controlled by **United States Congress… not a state.
So while people in DC live, work, and pay taxes… Congress still has the FINAL say over their laws 🧠💭
It’s basically power vs power:
State control ❌
Federal control ✅
Now ask yourself… should the people there have full state rights or nah? 👀
