Transfer Day! 🥹🐣 While you may not get a lot of traditional milestones when doing IVF, there are so many magical, amazing things you get to experience that you wouldn’t have otherwise! And one of them is getting to see your baby embryo and watching it be transferred into your uterus in real time!! 😭❤️✨ @hrcfertilitypasadena and @katherine.mcdaniel.md make the process so special 🥰 Now we wait. We’ll go in for a blood test on day 9 and see if it stuck! Thank you for all the prayers and support 🥹🙏🤞✨ Hoping for good things ahead ❤️ @hrcfertility #hrcfertility #ad #ivf #embryotransfer

Watching a blastocyst hatch never gets old. ✨ This tiny structure is a blastocyst — an embryo about 5–6 days after fertilization. It’s only about 0.1–0.2 millimeters wide, smaller than the period at the end of this sentence, yet incredibly complex. At this stage, the embryo is made up of: • An inner cell mass, which becomes the baby • An outer layer (trophectoderm), which helps form the placenta Before implantation can happen, the blastocyst must hatch out of its shell (called the zona pellucida). Hatching allows the embryo to interact directly with the uterine lining so it can attach and begin implantation. A few important reassurances: • Blastocysts do not all look the same • They can be at different stages of expansion or hatching • An embryo does NOT need to be fully hatched before transfer to implant successfully Some hatch before transfer, some start hatching after transfer, and some complete hatching once inside the uterus — all can lead to healthy pregnancies. Embryo development is dynamic, not one-size-fits-all. And every time I watch this process unfold, I’m reminded just how remarkable reproduction is! #blastocyst #embryotransfer Video @twolinesfertility

successful vs unsuccessful transfers: here’s what changed 🤍 i’ve gone through four total embryo transfers — two were successful. two were unsuccessful. here are the 3 biggest differences: 1. PRP🩸— after two back-to-back failed embryo transfers, I was diagnosed with repeated implantation failure. my doctor couldn’t figure out why the embryos weren’t sticking, especially because my first ever transfer was successful and how I had my son. he thought it was possibly my body’s immune response. i went into my doctor’s office the day before my second successful transfer for PRP, where they injected my platelets into my uterus. i can’t be sure that’s what made this embryo stick, but after two failures, we finally had success. 2. weight — i was about five pounds heavier during my successful transfers than during the unsuccessful ones. during the unsuccessful cycles, I was trying to eat incredibly healthy and follow a low carb, no sugar diet. i’m not sure if that ended up hindering me, but i was not following such a strict diet during my successful cycles and was heavier than my typical weight. 3. control - speaking of being strict, during my unsuccessful cycles I was doing allilll the things you’re “supposed” to do while going through IVF - following an extremely regimented diet, excercising daily, weekly acupunture, meditation, etc. i was the “healthiest” I’d ever been! And it STILL didn’t work.... it was such a hard pill to swallow that we truly have no control over the outcome. once i realized that — i mean truly realized that — i stopped being so strict with myself and stopped beating myself up if i wasn’t doing things perfectly. i decided to just BE. if you’re prepping for an upcoming embryo transfer, hopefully these help 🤍 follow along @softlifemama for more 🫶 #ivf #embryotransfer #frozenembryotransfer #infertility #ivfsupport

After embryo transfer, some early signs can gently hint that your IVF cycle may be successful.🙋🏻‍♀️ Let’s understand them✌️ ☑️Increased urination If you notice frequent bathroom visits or the urge to urinate more often,it can be due to pregnancy hormones activating the kidneys early on. ☑️Mood swings Feeling emotional, irritated, teary, or suddenly low? Early pregnancy hormones can cause quick mood changes - and this is very common. ☑️Light spotting between Day 7-10 A small amount of pink or light brown spotting about a week after transfer can be implantation bleeding - a strong early pregnancy sign ☑️Mild lower abdominal cramps A light pulling or period-like cramping sensation that can happen when the embryo is settling inside the uterus. This is usually normal. ☑️Sudden tiredness or excessive sleepiness Feeling unusually tired, heavy, or sleepy all day? Early hormonal shifts can cause fatigue even before a pregnancy test turns positive. 🤍IMPORTANT NOTE: If you feel one or more of these signs, chances may be strong but even if you feel NONE, pregnancy is stil possible😊 Every body responds differently after embryo transfer. The most important thing? Stay relaxed, stress-free, and follow your doctor’s advice until the blood test👍🏻✅ #doctorsherpa #gynaecologist #ivf #embryotransfer #mythvsfact

Successful vs unsuccessful transfers, here’s what changed 🤍 I’ve been through 4 embryo transfers total, 2 ended in success and 2 didn’t. Each one taught me something, but honestly, the emotional rollercoaster was the hardest part. Here are the 3 biggest differences I noticed: 1. PRP 🩸 After two back to back failed transfers, I was diagnosed with repeated implantation failure. My doctor couldn’t explain why the embryos weren’t sticking, especially since my very first transfer worked and that’s how I had my son. He suspected it might be an immune response. The day before my last transfer, I did PRP where my own platelets were injected into my uterus. I can’t say for certain that this was the reason, but after two heartbreaking failures, we finally had success. That moment meant everything. 2. Weight I was about 5 pounds heavier during my successful transfers compared to the unsuccessful ones. During the unsuccessful cycles, I was incredibly strict with food, low carb, no sugar, trying to do everything perfectly. During the successful cycles, I loosened up a bit and was slightly above my usual weight. I don’t know if that mattered, but I stopped obsessing over every bite. 3. Control During the unsuccessful cycles, I did ALL the things you’re told to do for IVF. Strict eating, daily workouts, weekly acupuncture, meditation, total discipline. I was probably the “healthiest” I had ever been, and it still didn’t work. That realization was tough. Accepting that some parts of this journey are simply out of our control was emotional but freeing. Once I truly accepted it, I stopped punishing myself for not being perfect. I gave myself permission to breathe, to feel, to just be. If you’re preparing for an embryo transfer, please be gentle with yourself. You’re doing more than enough 🤍 #ivf #embryotransfer #frozenembryotransfer

✨ Implantation… or just the meds ? During the 2-week wait, every small sensation feels big. Possible signs that may suggest implantation: • Slight stretching sensation or mild lower abdominal pain (lighter than periods) • Light spotting — pink or brown discharge (especially around Day 3–5 after embryo transfer in blastocyst cycles) • Breast heaviness or tenderness • Pelvic fullness • Bloating or acidity • Unusual fatigue • Mild nausea And then the overthinking begins… “Is this it?” “Or am I imagining it?” Here’s the honest truth: These symptoms often overlap with progesterone side effects. Some women feel everything. Some feel nothing. Both can still have a positive result. The only confirmation is your Beta hCG blood test. If you’re in your 2-week wait right now — breathe. 🤍 Comment “HOPE” if you’re waiting. Save this for reassurance later. #fertilityexpert #draradhanakalra #tryingtoconceive #ivf #embryotransfer

Embryo transfer, step by step. First, the outer catheter is gently inserted through the cervical canal. Then, a soft inner catheter is advanced into the endometrial cavity. Finally, under ultrasound guidance, you can see the flash, that’s the moment the embryos are released.#ivf #fertilityjourney #geneticscreening #fertility #embryotransfer
