THThere are some moments in life that you will hold onto forever. Transporting my snowflake babies, holding them myself, praying over them, and handing them off to their new icy space was a detail the Lord made in our story that met my heart in ways I never knew it could. Many emotions flooded in this time of our careful travel from one clinic to the next. I don’t know what the outcome will be for each precious one ❄️ and there are parts of the unknown future that are hard, BUT I know God is writing a very special story and we know His plans are good! The sweet desire to grow our family is bursting through the seams of my heart. I am excited for the blessings God has in store for us! Our embryo babies are safe and sound in their icy space at our new clinic

EMThe textbooks don’t tell us everything and, more importantly, The embryos have not read them.
This embryo may have been discarded in some embryology labs….. but why? Because it doesn’t do what it’s meant to? No one holds all the answers.
Every embryo is so unique. Just because you don’t understand what you ‘see’ you should never just say never.
Technology can support us and we can learn so much by taking a chance on embryos like this. The fact we can even see this phenomenon is down to the wonder that is Timelapse incubators. PGT-A testing here confirmed genetic normality and thus only goes to re-enforce the idea that embryos can develop without a shell.
So rare but proved to be normal…..

DRFertility preservation can get complicated when you break up and only have embryos frozen
Anna Kendrick shared this week that this happened to her with a recent break up.
When counseling patients about freezing eggs and embryos we go through all the pros and cons - see my YouTube video for all of them!
One thing is for sure - you can’t unfertilize embryos but if you freeze eggs they are YOURS.

TAI have 4 Boys ALL from our 1 IVF cycle in 2010. We used 1 and froze the rest until we were ready to be pregnant again. So we had 3 Boys frozen in time (along with 3 other embryos that did not make it) waiting for their turn to be born.
1 frozen for 2 yrs
1 frozen for 5 yrs
1 frozen for 13 yrs
They are all the same age but born at different times. Kinda cool to think about. They definitely are Real and not just a clump of cells. If my husband and I ( and with Gods Grace) didn’t give them a chance at life they wouldn’t be here.
