As promised, here is the vintage style film recipe I have been working on. This one is called the “Chris Chrome” and if you didn’t guess it is based on the Classic Chrome film simulation. I took my time with this one to make sure it really captured that look and feel you get from film photos, while making sure it can still be used in day to day scenarios. All photos are straight out of camera from my Fujifilm X100VI. I just used the recipe system built into the camera. Also here’s the recipe for the photos! let’s just start by saying that it is soooo hard to decide which film simulation to use! they are all so cool, that for me (Sagittarius vibes) finding one I really REALLY like is the hardest job ever 🙃 Because of this, I always end up changing them a little bit, enhancing the colors I like the most. This one in particular is sooo great! Perfect for daytime and nighttime, it is not the usual “yellowish” very warm recipe, but a really unique one that gives your photos a good cinematic look that I personally love.
