The pivotal difference between being the front-facing personality in your advertising is crucial. Many advisors choose to hire an actor, or solely use cookie cutter ads for their distribution of ads. While this may pull in leads, they won’t be the best. If you want to experience the feeling of having a prospect speak to you as if you already know them, you need to be involved in the funnel. The front-end: you in the ads. The follow-up: you following up. The retargeting: your organic content being dispersed to your leads. The difference? They learn a little bit more about you and your service every step of the way, and by the time you get on a call, you’re already the golden goose in comparison to others. What sounds more streamlined? Clicking on an ad with an actor, not being followed up with immediately, and speaking to a completely new person... or... watching an ad by YOU the advisor with a well scripted message with YOUR own talking points and value proposition which leads into a well oiled follow up machine. But what if they clicked and didn’t take action? Set up a retargeting campaign, acknowledge their commitment (the click), and tell them why they should get off the fence. “Hey I saw you clicked on my ad but didn’t take action, here’s why maybe you should.” What happens after: We need to put our teacher hat on in the back-end: Free resources provided along the way (guides, checklists, financial calculators).
