CMBig Relief for Ration Card Holders!
The government has announced that the free ration for June, July, and August will be distributed together in May under the PM-GKAY scheme.
Why this move?
With over 66 million tonnes of grains in FCI stock and new crops arriving, this step helps clear storage and ensures smooth distribution.
Who benefits?
1) Around 80 crore people across India
2) Each person will receive 15 kg of grain (5 kg/month × 3 months) in one go!
