Omg I love this song. 🤣🤣 For real though. It’s so hard to build muscle. It’s not going to happen by accident. It takes the right nutrition, training, recovery and so much time and effort. Most women are very under muscled. Having too much is rarely a problem. A natural female (not on PEDS)is not going to end up bulky. If you are truly concerned about an area getting too big then I suggest at least maintaining . Still training it, but not pushing sets as close to failure. Just keep in mind, that if we are not using our muscle, we are losing it as we age. And being thin will do nothing for you as enter perimenopause and are post menopausal. It will only help you with weight control/management. You are also risking bone loss, lack of mobility and injury by not building muscle. I always like to remember, that you never know what can happen with your life. You never know when you won’t be able to use your body the way you do now, so take full advantage of that opportunity for as long as you can. And yes 90 degree eccentric isometrics are so effective that in many scenarios they’re superior to steroids in terms of muscle growth & strength but without the side effects. Previous to this post personal trainer @rambagd more than doubled his squat & put on 20+ lb of muscle mass in 2 years. He also nearly doubled his bench press & increased most of his lifts by at least 50%. He was already an experienced lifter not a newbie. What’s crazy is we weren’t even emphasize trying to gain muscle or strength because getting his body healthy & pain free was the goal. However the last several months we’ve focused more on strength & muscle mass because he’s so healthy & pain free & form is so locked in with 90 deg EI. So how are these type of gains possible without garbage illegal ergogenic aids & steroids? The answer is 90 degree eccentric isometrics. Folks around the world switching not just because the 90 deg EI method is healing their body & eliminating pain & injury that no other method could resolve. They’re also switching after witnessing insane levels of muscle growth & strength gains in all ranges of motion including below 90. The methods are working & God gets all the glory!! I use to always think, more plates equals more muscle and strength gains. 💪 However so long as your muscle is brought to a level of fatigue, they will grow and become stronger 🤝 Here’s how you know the weight is too much: 1. You’re always “slightly injured” or dealing with joint pain. Due to the lack of capacity for the load! Your joints take must of the brunt. 🥺 2. Using momentum over the muscle. Swinging, bouncing, twisting. The only thing that should change is your face, due to lactic acid build up 😭 3. You miss your target reps. 🏋️‍♂️ If you’re supposed to hit 8-10 but you’re grinding out 3 slow reps... lower the weight and build properly. 4. If every rep is looking like a PB/Max attempt. 🥵 Your face is red, your body is shaking, you’re praying between reps and you’ve only done 2. *refer to step 3* 5. You’re kinda scared before every set and questioning it 😰 A little fear is normal. But if you’re genuinely nervous because you know you can’t handle the weight... it’s too heavy. Getting strong and building muscle dosent mean hurting ourselves. 🤝 #getstrong #gym #build
