Why I choose to opt out ⬇️ • Reduces unnecessary radiation exposure • These machines have not been thoroughly studied for safety in Children, Pregnant women, frequent flyers, those with chronic illness. ✨There are NO long term studies on this type of exposure. Search EPIC.org v department of homeland security for more information All you have to say is: 👉 “I’d like to opt out of the scanner.” And they will give you a pat down instead. It takes a few extra minutes, but for me, protecting my body is worth it. You’re allowed to make informed decisions about your body.
