Also the paneer made with curd turns out just perfect. 2 Litres Milk 4 to 5 tbsp Dahi is needed Salt is optional. Masala Paneer , high on protein & makes a great snack too. I haven’t bought ready made paneer since 3 years. Paneer usually doesn’t absorb any flavour when you put it into a gravy / curry or even marinate it. This is a good way to add flavour to it. This one tip will give you the softest paneer ever. For 300 g Paneer 2 Litres Milk 1 tbsp Salt 3 tsp Vinegar + 3 tsp Water mixed 1 tsp Chilli flakes 1/2 tsp Crushed Black Pepper 1 Green Chilli 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander The key to the softest paneer is the amount of time you press it for. It is extremely important. Do not press it for over 25 mins. It also needs to be refrigerated for atleast 20 mins before you use it to give you perfect cut paneer. 🌟 Vishesh Tippani - Use Full Fat Milk for best results - Heat the milk & stir it a few times to avoid it sticking to the bottom & scorching - Curdle the milk slowly & transfer it immediately - Make sure the cloth is slightly moist before adding the Chenna - Wash the chenna to remove the vinegar taste - For best results use a paneer mould - Always store paneer in water & it should cover the paneer. Digestive Health: Whey, the byproduct, is great for gut health. Macronutrients: (50g) Calories: 82 Kcal Protein: 7g Fats: 1.5g Carbs: 1g Ingredients: (approx 250g Paneer) 2000g (2 Litres) of low fat/toned milk 50ml (2 lemon) of lemon juice Instructions: Pour 2000g (2 Litres) of low fat/toned milk into a large pot and bring it to a boil over medium heat. Once the milk comes to a boil, switch off the heat. Add 50ml (2 lemon) of lemon juice to the milk. Stir gently and let the milk curdle. This process separates the curds from the whey. Pour the curdled milk through a muslin cloth placed over a strainer. Collect the whey (liquid) and set it aside for later use in curries, soups, or dough. Wash the collected curds under running cold water to remove the lemony taste. Place the curds into a paneer maker or any square-shaped tin. Press it down with a weight to remove excess water and shape it into a block. Refrigerate the pressed paneer for 2-3 hours until it sets. After setting, your low-fat paneer is ready to be used. You’ll get approximately 250g of fat-free paneer. Storage: Store the paneer dipped in whey water in the refrigerator in an airtight container. It stays fresh for up to a week.
