I’ve been talking to a lot of people who are thinking of moving to Florida right now. And I don’t blame them. There’s a reason this state keeps growing. The sunshine, the beaches, the no state income tax, the opportunity. On the surface, it sounds like a dream. But here’s what I really believe. Florida is incredible, but it is not meant for everyone. Florida is for people who like growth. This state is constantly evolving. New neighborhoods, new businesses, new developments. If you’re looking for somewhere that stays exactly the same year after year, this might not be it. Florida is for people who can handle heat. Not vacation heat. Real humidity in August. Long summers. Sunshine almost every day. Florida is for people who understand that living near the coast comes with different costs and different responsibilities. And most importantly, Florida is for people who actually want the lifestyle. Being outside. Being near the water. Taking advantage of the weather. Building something in a place that feels alive and full of momentum. If you want quiet predictability and four full seasons, you may be happier somewhere else. But if you want energy, opportunity, proximity to the ocean, and a place that feels like it’s moving forward, this state can completely change your life. I was born and raised here. I’ve watched it grow. And the people who thrive here are the ones who move with intention, not just because it’s trending. So the question isn’t whether Florida is popular. It’s whether Florida fits you. That’s the conversation that actually matters. Comment “RELOCATE” and I can send you my relocation guide. If you are seriously considering then you can book a call with me and we will map out a realistic plan based on your timeline, your budget, and the lifestyle you actually want. Sometimes the best gift you can give your kids is the environment they grow up in. Maybe that place is here. - Bella Taazieh ♡ Florida Realtor | Jacksonville-Based 📱 904.480.9962

Here’s what I’ve learned… I moved across the country from Iowa to Sarasota and I didn’t know these things before becoming a Floridian. 11. You won’t go to the beach as often as you imagined. Living-here beach is sunrise walks, quick dips, and after dinner sunsets. 12. Population doubles during season - traffic and Dinner reservations require you to plan ahead. 13. Shaded parking spots are ELITE. You will walk farther to park in the shade. 14. Your mood improves from the sunlight alone. 15. Winter stops being a season you endure. You get to actually live during the months that used to feel depressing. 16. Outdoor life becomes normal. Morning walks, coffee; lunch, dinners, bike rides, patios, pickleball, sunsets. 17. You’ll become a sunrise/sunset person without trying. 18. You spend less time “waiting for nicer weather.” You stop putting life on hold. 19. Visitors are built-in now; friends and family want to come visit when you live in paradise 20. Weekend trips are easy. Beaches, springs, islands, Key West, Tampa, Orlando, small coastal towns. You don’t need flights to feel like you escaped. If you’re considering making Florida home, full-time or seasonally, I’m here to help you sort through the real-life details so you can make the right move for you. #sarasotaflorida #movingtoflorida #relocatingtoflorida #sarasotarealestate #sarasota_florida

This is why people move to Florida………and somehow end up regretting it 6 months later… They move here for sunshine, waterfront views, and the Florida lifestyle… then choose a neighborhood that doesn’t actually fit their daily life. They love the idea of living in Tampa… but don’t realize how different West Tampa, South Tampa, East Tampa, North Tampa, Downtown Tampa, and gated communities truly feel. They picture palm trees and being close to the water… but pick a community where they pull into the garage, close the door, and never experience the walkable lifestyle, waterfront views, or community energy they moved here for. They think Tampa is “one thing.” In reality, Tampa real estate offers dozens of micro-lifestyles hiding under one city name. I’ve seen it happen more times than I can count. The families who struggle usually did this 👇 • Chose hype over fit because a neighborhood looked good on Instagram instead of thinking about their daily routine. • Picked proximity without considering traffic on Dale Mabry, I-275, or the Crosstown during rush hour. • Didn’t fully research ,schools, commute times, HOA rules, flood zones, or lifestyle differences between gated communities and established non-HOA neighborhoods. • Expected the move to Florida to automatically create happiness instead of building the right routine. The families who thrive in Tampa do the opposite. They choose the right area, not just the most talked about one. They understand that living in Tampa is about lifestyle, not just zip code. They plan around schools, work, water access, walkability, and long-term goals. Florida doesn’t ruin people. Bad planning does. Moving to Florida changed more than just our location. It changed how I feel every day. Here are a few things that improved for me personally. Daily walks. The weather makes it easy to get outside year round. That alone has helped my mental health more than I expected. Feeling lighter mentally. Less stress about the long winters and cost pressures we were feeling. Being around people who are building things. Entrepreneurs, small business owners, people who think differently about work and opportunity. Opportunities everywhere. Florida feels like a place where things are growing quickly. And honestly the personal growth. Starting over in a new country with a business pushes you in ways you can’t really explain until you do it. It has been uncomfortable at times. But also one of the best decisions we’ve made. And no, this isn’t about hating Canada. It’s just about finding the environment that works best for you.

Thinking about moving to Northeast Florida? You need to understand these three things before you buy—or you can get burned fast. In this video, I break down: • What property taxes really look like on a ~$500,000 home • Why homeowners insurance works very differently in Florida (and why it’s usually higher) • How HOAs work here—and how to find HOA or non-HOA communities that fit your lifestyle This is the stuff most people don’t learn until after they move… and by then it’s expensive. If you’re planning a move to NE Florida in 2026, grab my free relocation guide and join my free live webinar on January 13th (6–7pm) ET where I go deeper and answer real questions in real time. Comment “INFO” and I’ll send you everything. #MovingToFlorida

If I were moving to Florida and wanted newer homes, top-rated schools, minimal HOA drama, and a Costco a few minutes away… I’d be looking in Palmetto, Florida. Here’s why 👇🏼 You get newer construction without the St. Pete price tag. You’re close to I-75, so Tampa, Sarasota, and St. Pete are all doable. You’ve got space. Garages. Driveways. Backyards. And you’re still 30–40 minutes from the beach. It’s not touristy. It’s not chaotic. It’s families, professionals, and people who actually live here year-round. And yes… Costco runs without turning it into a full-day event matters more than people admit. 😌 If you’re relocating and trying to balance lifestyle + practicality… Palmetto deserves a spot on your list. Follow me if you’re exploring a move to Florida but want the real breakdown not just palm tree hype. 🌴
