There’s a lot of talk right now about “longevity doctors,” biohacking, reversing aging, optimizing your lifespan. And I get why it’s appealing. Aging is TERRIFYING. Loss of control is scary. The idea that there’s a secret formula feels comforting. But oncology training teaches you something very different. It teaches you that biology does not negotiate. I’ve taken care of patients who exercised, ate well, never smoked, did cold plunges, and daily anti inflammatory supplements AND still developed cancer. I’ve also taken care of patients with many many risk factors who never got cancer. That’s not because prevention doesn’t matter. It’s because risk is probability, not prophecy. You cannot hack your way out of being human. There is no supplement, infusion, protocol, or concierge package that overrides genetics, time, chance, and biology. Anyone promising that is selling certainty where none exists. That doesn’t mean nothing matters. It means what matters is less glamorous. Your real “longevity plan” looks like: • A primary care doctor who knows you • Evidence-based screening • Vaccinations • Blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes control • Sleep, movement, nutrition, mental health • Preventing disease earlier rather than reacting later Longevity isn’t found in extremes. It’s found in consistency. If someone is selling you a promise, ask yourself what they’re skipping over.

I keep asking myself, how does the normal person fight back? I think we fight back, by becoming unable to control. Focus on optimizing your health so you’re not dependent on big pharma. You focus on your family, so nothing happens to your kids. You teach your kids to become critical thinking masters so they don’t just buy what’s told to them. We focus on our mental health because we can’t just be emotional psychopaths. That’s fixes nothing. We focus on being as educated as possible, especially in history so we don’t allow bullshit cycles to continue. We make a shit ton of money so we don’t become dependent on government assistance. We get a great fucking tax person so we aren’t giving these shit heads our money. We become uncontrollable. We realize our neighbors aren’t our enemies. So we love our fellow citizens and neighbors. And then we do everything we can to make sure these fuckers have zero hold on us. It’s time to become fucking dangerous.
