We’re grateful to have been part of the 2026 Nest Expo, where we had the opportunity to speak with mothers at every stage of their prenatal journey about the role pelvic floor therapy can play in long-term health and quality of life. Throughout the event, many families were surprised to learn that treatment with us can help address symptoms such as urinary leakage, pelvic pressure, pain with intercourse, diastasis recti, and difficulty returning to exercise after birth. Another notably point we discussed: pelvic floor therapy is not always internal treatment. Care is individualized and may include manual hands-on therapy, myofascial release, bladder training, and movement strategies that restore coordination between the core and pelvic floor. The goal is to improve function, reduce symptoms, and support recovery through pregnancy and postpartum. For the moms that want more structured support to prevent issues during labor and birth and have a direct path of recovery afterwards we offer two care packages: 1. Our Thrive Package A pregnancy-to-postpartum care plan that includes 11 pelvic floor therapy sessions designed to guide patients through pregnancy, birth preparation, and postpartum recovery. Care may address: • Pregnancy-related pelvic or back pain • Preparing the body for labor and delivery • Diastasis recti • Urinary incontinence or pelvic pressure • Scar tissue healing after delivery • Rebuilding core and pelvic floor function postpartum 2. Our Nourish Package Designed for the early postpartum period, this package includes 6 private sessions focused on maternal recovery and infant bonding. Sessions include: • Hands-on infant massage training to support digestion, relaxation, and comfort • Parent-infant communication education to strengthen connection • Gentle postpartum bodywork to support maternal healing and comfort Thank you to the excellent pregnancy and postpartum providers who helped make the Nest Expo a valuable resource for families in our community.

Movement in this season doesn’t have to be perfect, quiet, or uninterrupted to be meaningful. It can be messy, slow, inconsistent, and still be exactly what your body needs. Postpartum bodies deserve support, not pressure to “bounce back.” Sometimes that support looks like a full workout. Sometimes it looks like five minutes on the floor with a baby climbing on you. If you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum, pelvic pain, or just feeling disconnected from your body, this is the work I do. I specialize in pelvic health therapy for all genders, with a whole-body, personalized approach. I look at how the pelvic floor connects with the nervous system, core, hips, and your daily life, and I incorporate story work to help address underlying patterns and trauma. At Mummas Circle this week, our mums had the chance to sit down with our postpartum pelvic floor physiotherapist and have an open, honest conversation about recovery after birth. We talked about things that aren’t always spoken about enough — heaviness, leaking, discomfort, returning to exercise, returning to intimacy, and that feeling of being disconnected from your body. The biggest reminder? You’re not meant to figure this out alone. Having the right support and guidance can make such a difference to how women recover, physically and emotionally, after having a baby. In fact, I do not even know if physical therapy for moms existed! 🫠 After my 3rd baby I wanted to learn EVERYTHING so I could support moms to feel confident in the journey pregnancy to postpartum. Along the way I learned first hand that this was a time to have grace for the changes my body went through and allow it the time it needed to heal! Over the next 2 decades, I learned so much moms can do in pregnancy to prepare for birth and recover postpartum. It does not mean the pelvic floor, the rest of your core and connective tissues are ready for jumping, heavy lifting and returning to sex. These all deserve a proper rehab assessment and not just, “you’re good to go”. Share this with every new mom you know. Session 3 invites your husband or birth support person to learn how to best advocate for + assist you ♥️ Developed and instructed by Sarah Griffith, PT, DPT, OCS and pelvic floor physical therapist, after treating hundreds of moms both in the prenatal and postpartum stages, this series meets you where you are at, is interactive, and in a group setting to allow you to ask questions and feel ready for the big day.
