@lesdogggg I find that comparison genuinely disrespectful. Our ancestors were beaten, sold, and stripped of their families.
That is not the same as a marriage contract. And telling young Black women to avoid marriage while Black family structures are already under pressure isn’t edgy ,it’s irresponsible.
