The Lord calls us not to fear, because fear is faith in the enemy, while trust is faith in God.
When our hearts are filled with fear, we forget Who holds the universe in His hands. But when we remember Christ, fear loses all power.
St. John Chrysostom said:
“When God is with us, who can be against us? No one, not even the devil himself.”
The saints faced torture, exile, and death without fear, not because they were fearless by nature, but because they trusted completely in the Lord’s love.
Whatever storm you face, remember: Christ is in the boat. The waves may rise, but He commands the sea.
So stand firm in prayer, take up your cross, and walk in faith for the Lord has already conquered the world.
