As I turned 40, one of the biggest lessons I embraced is this: Don’t resist the tension. Don’t fight the discomfort. Lean into the emotions, the changes, the unknowns—because just like the strongest wave, there’s always a softening when it reaches the shore. 💫
About a year ago, I tried surfing for the first time in Siargao with the gorgeous @ikit_agudo . 🏄♀️ It was terrifying, exhilarating, unpredictable, and rewarding—just like life. When a barrel wave caught me, I held on for dear life and rode the wave, not in perfect style, but in survival mode. And you know what? It was incredible to surrender to nature’s rhythms instead of fighting them. 🌿🌊
💡 Key Lessons I Learned at 40:
1️⃣ Lean In: Don’t fight your feelings—embrace them.
2️⃣ Trust the Flow: Resistance creates struggle; trust creates ease.
3️⃣ Listen to Your Intuition: Your inner wisdom is a guiding light. 🌟
Life is constant change, and healing is an ongoing journey. I’m learning to flow with ease, to surrender to the process, and to remember: Everything we need is already inside us. 🤍✨
