"After every storm comes a rainbow" I know it's cheesy but seeing this rainbow on Sunday morning was such a beautiful sign that marked the start of an incredible day! @rmb_cib @plaisirwineestate Run4Rivers was possibly one of the best races I have ever run, not because of PBs but because of the dark storm that it feels like I have finally come out of! There were times last year when I doubted I would run again, doubted that I would race again, feared that all the peace and happiness I found on the trails had disappeared! Stepping onto the 5km Start line and then spending a magically 40 mins in the vineyards brought it all back! That inexplicable feeling, the lightness, the joy and surrounding myself with people who just got it! On another note, Run4Rivers is set to become South Africa’s best race, beautiful runnable trails, unbelievable hospitality, all combined with their wine festival afterwards made for an unforgettable day! Chamberlain Falls (Class 4+), Bogus Thunder (Class 4), and Staircase (Class 4+) are some of the highlights, but in between the iconic rapids, there’s plenty of lighter, splashier wave trains like this one.  We were able to enjoy a full season out there this year, and are excited to get back on the North Fork in 2025!
