HII4 is not compatible with Community.
Imagine no longer hearing the songbirds or the frogs because industry want to be 50-100 meters from Cable Bay.
This is footage of the proposed rezoning. Imagine 50 -100 meters to your left will all be forever changed by capitalism. Its not alright. Its not okay.
Our community has homes all around this trail and so do the birds, bears and deer.

Here’s how to participate in a Public Hearing in Nanaimo…
When participating physically, attendees must follow these specific protocols:
In-Person Speaking: Upon arrival, speak to the Recording Secretary or Corporate Officer to check in. Speakers are typically given five minutes to state their name, address, and comments relevant to the agenda item, with a maximum of four delegations permitted per non-agenda item.
Call-In Speaking: Watch the livestream video, wait for the relevant agenda item to be presented, and call (250-755-4455); callers are placed on hold until their turn, at which point staff unmute them to allow three minutes of speaking time.
Alternatively, opinions can be submitted online or via email to public.hearing@nanaimo.ca by 2:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting, or dropped off in the drop box outside the Service and Resource Centre (411 Dunsmuir Street).

HIAnd the community showed up!
The Moose hall was packed tight. Tighter than a friday night Gogo concert. It was hopping and happening. People from all walks of life walked into that hall to ask questions. This is all we can ask for as we start to realize our industrial neighbor has some poor ideas that don't mesh with our farming community.
