10 reasons we’re flexi schooling our kids 📚 We absolutely aren’t against school, our kids both love school, they are happy there, have great friends and our school’s focus on wellbeing is fantastic. What I am against is the local authorities forcing people to school their kids in one set way with no leeway and fining and threatening court if you question it and try to school your kids through experiencing the real world. On this trip Caspar has on his own back: 1. been so much more regulated and happy 2. learnt to have patience when his little brother annoys him 3. choose to try new foods 4. leant to communicate his emotions 5. read loads of books 6. asked to re start his Spanish learning 7. written songs and stories 8. drawn lots 9. talked more and shared his passions openly with us 10. not been worried if I wasn’t right by him What do you think, is learning best in the classroom or do you think kids should be able to learn more freely like this? #worldschooling #flexischooling #flexischool #homeschooling #travellingwithkids #familytravel #education #familyadventures
