Welcome back to my Streaming 101 series. We’re using Streamlabs today because it’s the easiest way to get those custom alerts.

The “Alert Box” Setup Checklist:
1️⃣ The Dashboard
Log in at Streamlabs.com.
Go to Essentials - Alert Box
2️⃣ Customization
Click on the tabs (Subs,Members,Superchat) to customize each one.
Layout: Choose if you want the text over, under, or beside the image.
Media: Upload your own sounds and GIFs to make it unique
3️⃣ The Browser Source
Copy the Widget URL.
In OBS, add a Browser Source.
Paste the link and set your dimensions (800x600 is usually the sweet spot)
4️⃣ The Echo Fix
If you hear the alert twice, make sure you don’t have the Streamlabs dashboard open in your browser while you’re live
