RISo many writers tell themselves that they have to be in the “mood” to write.
They treat a lack of motivation like an illness they need to recorder from.
But what they don’t understand, is the deep truth this quote teaches.
“The desire to write grows with writing.”
As you show up, you will begin to recognize the REWARDS that come from doing so consistently.
You will see your words build upon one another, your efforts compound, your skills develop, and your book grow more and more each day.
Witnessing and experiencing that transformation will fuel your desire.
Drive is not something you have to wait around for. It’s something you create by taking action.
So stop hoping motivation will jump out of the shadows one day and surprise you. Invite it in with your behavior.
