I reckon some poorly designed boilers never get serviced properly. The easier they are to take apart and clean the more likely they’ll get a decent service. Putting parts in inaccessible places is a great example. There’s one boiler manufacturer above all others that gives me the most headaches. Mostly through bad design, stupid layout and rubbis components. Can you guess which one? Ps it’s not Ideal. I like them. #boilers #rant #pov #heating plumbing

Skimming is also often confused with flushing or blowing down controls. I try to educate guys but most times it falls on deaf ears. They either don’t want to take the time to do it or don’t see the point of doing it.
