I never knew ‘all-you-can-eat’ buffets are so popular in China until our friend brought us to this place called 水濑 in Guangzhou. It’s a premium Japanese buffet concept with an insane variety, with over 50 different dishes to choose from. 🤩
For just around S$100 (¥568) per person, you can get free flow uni, caviar, A5 wagyu beef, snow crab legs, oysters, bluefin tuna, abalone, langoustine, botan ebi, foie gras, and so many more. The seafood are all very fresh and delicious. The cooked dishes are also well done and super satisfying. 🦀
Unlike other buffet restaurants, you order whatever you want and the staff will bring it out to you, beautifully presented. The only thing that I hate is that the orders have to be made with the staff and not through WeChat, so it’s hard to get their attention at times. The outlet we went is really packed, we waited for almost 1.5 hours before we could get a table. But they don’t impose a time limit, so you can stay for however you like until they close.
Honestly, if you’re a value hunter and someone who loves buffets, this is a must-visit. But it’s the kind of place where we feel, just once is enough.
