How long do you think this girl is?😳 This girl is a Burmese python and one of the biggest I have ever had🙌 Unlike Reticulated pythons, Burmese pythons don’t get as long but they do tend to be a lot thicker similar to anacondas😱 She measured a little over 18 feet🤯 That is huge for a Burmese python and this girl easily weighed over 300 pounds👀 She is a very beautiful and sweet snake and wouldn’t even react to me helping her get rid of an eye cap😁

Spending some time with this beautiful Yellow Burmese Python at Fame Park in Dubai! 🐍💛 These stunning snakes are a specific color morph, an amelanistic version of a regular Burmese Python, which means they lack dark pigment and rock that yellow and white pattern! In the wild, these snakes are native to Southeast Asia and can reach impressive lengths of 16-20 feet! They are know for being excellent swimmers and can stay submerged for up to 30 minutes. Always an amazing experience being with these snakes! 🤗🌟

The video depicts a woman dressed in a highly detailed, full-body costume designed to resemble a coiled Burmese python, complete with realistic scale patterns and a large snake headpiece draped over her shoulders and torso. She stands posed in a courtyard or driveway area next to a light-colored wall and gate, wearing a blue dress beneath the costume, high heels, and holding a small object in one hand. A golden retriever dog stands calmly nearby on the ground, looking toward the camera without apparent distress. The clip appears to be an AI-generated or digitally manipulated visual effect, presenting a surreal and humorous human-snake hybrid figure alongside the pet. Uploaded in recent months on Instagram as a short Reel, the video has accumulated moderate engagement with several thousand views across reposts and shares on platforms including X, though specific metrics vary by account. Audience reactions primarily focus on the uncanny and amusing nature of the costume's realism, with comments noting the dog's relaxed demeanor contrasting the bizarre appearance, alongside observations about digital editing or AI involvement. Its viral spread stems from the combination of unexpected absurdity, high visual production quality, and the harmless juxtaposition of a "dangerous" snake motif with an everyday pet scene, appealing to users interested in creative costumes, AI content, and lighthearted animal videos. via : Instagram Reel (user-submitted clip)

The Golden Guest of the Tundra Yamato was used to finding strange things in his remote Alaska cabin—stray moose in the yard or frost on the inside of his windows—but he never expected to find a bright yellow stowaway in his bathroom. One frigid January morning, Yamato lifted the toilet lid and froze. Coiled tightly inside the bowl was a massive Yellow Burmese Python. Its scales were a brilliant, sunny gold that looked completely out of place against the white porcelain and the gray Alaskan sky outside. "You’re a long way from home, buddy," Yamato whispered. He realized the snake was likely an escaped pet that had sought the only warmth it could find: the heated pipes of his cabin. A Strange Friendship Knowing the tropical snake would stand no chance in the sub-zero temperatures outside, Yamato decided to become its caretaker. He named the python "Sol" (Spanish for sun) because of its radiant color. The transition wasn't easy: The Habitat: Yamato cleared out a large cedar chest and rigged it with heat lamps and thermometers to mimic a jungle climate. The Bond: Every evening, after chopping wood, Yamato would let Sol drape across his shoulders. The snake’s weight was grounding, and its warmth—maintained by the heat lamps—felt like a living scarf. The Survival: While the wind howled and snow piled up against the doors, the Alaskan man and the golden snake lived in a strange, silent harmony. The Guardian of the Cabin As months passed, Sol became more than just a rescued pet; he became a part of the cabin’s soul. Visitors were terrified at first, but Yamato would just laugh. He’d show them how Sol would sit perfectly still by the hearth, a splash of tropical gold in the middle of the frozen North. Yamato had spent his life protecting himself from the Alaskan cold, but in caring for Sol, he found a different kind of warmth—the kind that comes from looking after a creature that shouldn't have survived, but did.

The Burmese python (Python bivittatus) 🐍 One of the largest snake species on Earth, the Burmese python is a powerful, non-venomous constrictor native to Southeast Asia, including forests, grasslands, marshes, and river valleys. Known for its thick, muscular body and striking pattern of dark brown blotches outlined in black against a tan or golden background, this snake is both visually impressive and biologically fascinating. Burmese pythons can grow over 6 meters (20 feet) in length and weigh more than 90 kg, making them among the heaviest snakes in the world. Despite their massive size, they are excellent swimmers and can stay submerged for up to 30 minutes, often using water as both a hunting ground and an escape route. As ambush predators, Burmese pythons rely on stealth rather than speed. They strike quickly, coil around their prey, and kill by constriction—cutting off blood flow rather than air. Their diet includes mammals and birds such as deer, pigs, monkeys, and even alligators. Flexible jaws and highly stretchable ligaments allow them to swallow prey much larger than their head. In the wild, these snakes play an important role in maintaining ecological balance by controlling animal populations. However, in places like Florida’s Everglades, where they are an invasive species, Burmese pythons have caused severe declines in native wildlife due to a lack of natural predators. Calm in appearance but incredibly powerful, the Burmese python is a living example of nature’s ability to combine beauty, strength, and efficiency in a single predator. #BurmesePython #WildlifeFacts #NaturePredators

It wasn’t a LONG checkup for Elmo at all! 🐍📏 Our nearly 16-foot-long Burmese python friend Elmo recently took a trip to our hospital to have a physical exam! Being an older snake, it’s good for animals like Elmo to get periodic physical examinations to get them moving and gather updated measurements, x-rays, and blood work. 📋 The results obtained help to identify any underlying problems an animal may be having. Then, the veterinary team can prescribe any required therapy or treatment. Our veterinary hospital staff, curators, and keepers always go above and beyond to care for all of our animal friends here, even if they’re longer than the examination table! Elmo was a great patient, he did well and was VERY brave when getting his blood drawn. 🫶 #memphiszoo #behindthescenes #elmo #burmesepython #snake #hospital #veterinary #love #animals #care #snakes

It’s adventure time for Bernie the Burmese Python! 🐍 Bernie here is having a little enrichment break in the garden while he searches for a lovely place to bask and soak up some sun 🌞 Burmese Pythons are one of the largest snake species in the world, capable of growing over 5 metres long! Despite their size, they are non-venomous constrictors, meaning they rely on strength rather than venom to capture their prey. Similar to other snake species, Burmese Pythons have limited eyesight and instead depend on chemical receptors in their tongues and heat-sensing pits along their jaws to detect prey👅 Bernie can be a little tricky to spot at the zoo, as he plays an important role as a teaching snake. Not to worry though, if you are keen to see a big snake you can always find his (much larger) sister, Bernice, in the reptile section of our aquarium! #canberrazoo #nationalzooandaquarium #nationalzoocbr #nationalzoo #canberra #cbr #zoo #seeaustralia #australia #conservation #animalconservation #animalphotography #animals #wildlife #cute #visitcanberra #burmesepython
