TH@katherinewants is trying Anthony Bourdain’s favorite Mortadella Sandwich! This recipe is basically an elevated bologna sandwich, but it still hits the spot.
INGREDIENTS:
6 bundles of mortadella, thinly sliced
1 splash EVOO Terra Delyssa
6 slices provolone
2 soft buns
3 tablespoons mayo
2 tablespoons spicy Dijon
4 twists black pepper
RECIPE:
1. Heat EVOO to medium and crisp up mortadella. Flip and top with provolone. Remove from the pan when softly melted.
3. Dress buns with mayo and toast (aggressively) in a pan.
4. Add Dijon and mortadella. Finish with black pepper.
5. Cut and serve. You might need a few napkins.
