Number 1 advice I can give you is to become more confident in your work. Clients will trust you as much as you trust yourself and your ability to create quality work!
You need to be able to market yourself and showcase why they should commission YOU. What makes you stand out? What are you really good at? What do you have that other artists may not be able to provide?
I have seen a lot of smaller artists talk badly about themselves or make videos that is a pity-farm. Listen I understand that getting traction is hard as a smaller artist but do you want people to follow you and interact with you out od the love for your art or out of pity?
Personally I rather be known for my artistic skill and fast delivery time than have people feel sorry for me. Present yourself with authority and confidence and trust me, you will see things change.
