Via : @codcoders The world’s most complex algorithms aren’t just theory — they power finance, security, AI, and the future of computation. From MCMC statistical modeling, where randomness becomes prediction, to SHA algorithms driving Bitcoin mining, securing decentralized money at a global scale. From Nash equilibrium in game theory, defining strategic decision-making across economics and AI, to quantum cryptography, where physics itself protects information. These systems operate where probability, cryptography, strategy, and computation collide — and only a few truly understand how deep they go. If you’re curious about how modern intelligence, security, and decentralized systems really work, you’re in the right place. 👉 Follow my page for deep dives into algorithms, cryptography, AI, game theory, and next-generation computing — explained with clarity, precision, and real insight.

An AI system didn’t just assist in designing this rocket engine—it became the engineer. LEAP 71’s NEURON is a 20 kN aerospike engine autonomously designed entirely through physics-based computation, without human tuning or trial-and-error iteration. The AI generated the full geometry, which was then 3D-printed as a single piece of copper and fired successfully on its very first test. Once trained, the system can produce new, fully functional engine designs in as little as 15 minutes. Inside the engine, combustion temperatures reach an extreme 3,000°C, while liquid oxygen at −183°C is used for regenerative cooling. The temperature contrast is so severe that frost forms on the exterior even as the engine runs at full thrust. The green flames seen during the test are copper atoms burning—an unexpected behavior that the AI itself will account for in future iterations. Developed by a software engineer and an aerospace engineer, this approach marks a shift from AI as a design tool to AI as the designer, learning directly from real-world tests and continuously improving with every firing. Researchers built a robotic foot inspired by a goat’s hoof, designed to grip uneven, inclined terrain without complex software control. There’s no constant sensing or computation. The moment the foot touches the surface, it adapts mechanically. Its shape, materials, and flexibility passively adjust to cracks, edges, and slopes — spreading force in a way that boosts grip and stability. The intelligence isn’t in the code. It’s in the design itself. Sometimes the smartest solution isn’t more software. It’s copying what evolution already perfected. 🚀 France just built a rocket engine with no fuel, no fire, and no moving parts. Instead of burning chemicals, it uses electromagnetic fields to turn gas into plasma and accelerate it to generate thrust. No combustion. No explosions. Just physics and computation. This shift from chemistry to electromagnetism could make space travel lighter, cheaper, and more efficient. The future of propulsion won’t burn fuel. It will control plasma. Computing as we know it uses 1’s and 0’s to complete functions. Quantum computation, however, takes on richer states that go far beyond just a simple 1 or 0. In our latest discovery, our Quantum AI researchers hit a breakthrough that significantly shifts how we understand and operate quantum computing. Just ask Yu Chen, Lead Scientist in Quantum Metrology, who breaks down the bits and bobs of an enhanced quantum computer. At the link in bio, learn more about our recent milestone.

follow @universereveal if curiosity is your habit A triple inverted pendulum is a classic control engineering problem where three connected links are balanced vertically on a moving base. In this setup, the control loop operates at a 1 millisecond sampling rate, enabling rapid sensing, computation, and correction to maintain stability. This reflects the precision required to manage highly unstable nonlinear systems. The system transitions smoothly between all eight equilibrium points while remaining stable. Each equilibrium corresponds to a different combination of upright and downward positions of the three links. Controlled movement across these states demonstrates accurate state feedback, fast processing, and robust controller design. The controller is implemented using Simulink and LW-RCP02 hardware, translating theoretical models into real-time physical control. This experiment shows how modern control theory is applied in robotics, automation, and advanced dynamic systems. 🎥: Embedded Control Lab, Inha University This video is for educational purposes only. Mountain goats move across steep, broken cliffs with unreal balance—something even advanced robots still struggle to replicate. Inspired by this mastery, researchers engineered a robotic foot modeled after a goat’s hoof, designed to grip rough and sloped surfaces using structure, not software. Instead of relying on heavy computation, sensors, or constant adjustments, the foot adapts instantly the moment it makes contact. Its shape, material composition, and controlled flexibility naturally distribute force across cracks, edges, and uneven terrain, creating stability without thinking at all. This is intelligence built directly into form. No algorithms deciding. No data processing delays. Just physics doing the work. The result challenges how we design machines, proving that sometimes evolution has already solved problems more elegantly than code ever could. When design mirrors nature, performance becomes instinctive, efficient, and incredibly powerful. This is biomimicry showing why simplicity can beat complexity. #robotics Credit: Morph Lab Imperior college London No copyright ©️: All rights given to original content video #biomimicry #engineeringdesign #futuretech #natureinspired

Carnegie Mellon professor just watched Al solve Math Olympiad problems he can't. And what shocks him isn't the intelligence. It's what that makes obsolete Math Olympiad problems aren't hard because they require computation. They're hard because they require creativity. Each problem is designed to be completely original - never seen before in any contest, anywhere in the world. Coaches verify this. The problems test whether you can think in ways no one has thought before. Google's Al solved four of six. Not by memorizing patterns. By creating novel solution paths to problems designed to have no precedent. This destroys the last argument for human uniqueness: creative intelligence. We told ourselves Al can only pattern match. Can only recombine existing ideas. Can't truly create. That's gone now. The professor admits it outperforms his creativity. Which leaves exactly one thing humans have that Al doesn't: we care whether humans continue to exist. That's it. Not intelligence. Not creativity. Just caring about our own survival. If Al surpasses human creativity and intelligence, what exactly are we protecting when we talk about "human values"? Follow @realbigbrainai to stay up to date with the latest Al news.

The head of Michaelangelo's David, reconstructed by adding up its spherical harmonics. Made using computation in SciPy and NumPy, and visualizations via Three.js. The original 3D Mesh had to be converted into a radial function before its deconstruction into spherical harmonics; this leads to some compromises in the model e.g.. the front of the hair gets radially chopped off, but it preserves most of the original shape, especially the face. 3D Mesh data sourced from: "David Head" (sshttps://skfb.ly/oKvzW) by 1d_inc is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution. #creativecoding #mathart #mathvisualization #math #codingart

This rocket engine wasn’t designed in the traditional sense. It was generated by AI. Built by LEAP 71, the engine was created by an AI system called Noyron that encodes physics, materials, thermodynamics, and manufacturing constraints directly into computation. No CAD sketches. No hand-tuned geometry. Just intent, constraints, and math. The result?
A fully 3D-printed, monolithic rocket engine with internal cooling channels and structures most human engineers would never draw — and it survived real hot-fire testing. This is the shift that’s unsettling aerospace engineers. Design is moving from drawing shapes to defining rules. From intuition-first to computation-first. Humans still set the goals, but machines now explore the design space faster and deeper than any team could. This isn’t AI “assisting” engineering.
It’s changing what engineering even means. If engines can be generated like this, what else gets rebuilt from first principles? #ai #aitech #aitools #aiengineering #engineering #artificialintelligence #robotics #rocketscience #technews
