If you dont have self rising, add 1 tablespoon baking powder) 1 1/2 cup All purpose flour 1 or 1 1/2 cup sugar (it gotta taste sweet like me for meeee) 2 sticks melted salted butter 1 1/4 cup whole milk 3 large eggs Honey Vanilla bean gel or extract Bake in oven on 350 for 25 minutes or until a toothpick entered into the center comes out clean! Ramadan Series: Homemade Cornbread (Full recipe below) - - Ingredients: 2 cups cornmeal 2 cups flour 2 eggs 2 tsp salt 2 tbsp baking powder 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1/2 cup sugar 1 1/2 cup milk Glaze: 1/4 cup honey 1 stick melted salted butter Directions: -Preheat oven to 400 -In a bowl first mix your dry ingredients together. -Add in your milk, eggs, then oil and mix together until a mildly thick consistency forms. -Add more milk if it’s too thick. -Oil your cast iron skillet or your baking dish with a bit of vegetable oil. -Pour your cornbread batter evenly all over your dish and tap lightly against the counter. -In a separate bowl add one stick of melted salted butter and about 1/4 cup of honey and mix together. -Bake your cornbread for 25-30 mins. -Every 10 mins or so brush your cornbread with your honey butter mixture. -Bake until your cornbread is nice and golden brown. -Once finished take out and cool and brush with more honey butter and serve! #cornbread #cornbreadrecipes #cooking #recipes #easyrecipe #ramadanrecipe #food #explore #foodreels #reels #quickrecipes #bread #breadrecipe #cooking #ramadan #explorepage
