That should be easier on your wrists. 3️⃣ Lean way further forward than you think you need to. Tip: Use a pillow and put your head down to help overcome the fear of falling. That’s it! How many of these can you do?! Crow Pose to Handstand - The Technique. ~ One element of my teaching that has always remained fundamental when it comes to Asana is to start with the foundation. ~ Applying contact through the first knuckle (internal rotation) will recruit the ‘front arm-line’ - biceps, anterior deltoid, pec major & minor. Applying contact through the pisaform (external rotation) will recruit the ‘back arm-line’ - triceps, posterior deltoid, serratus anterior. Applying force through these two contacts of the hand can help to create a muscular ‘co-contraction’ through the kinetic line of the arm. This will stabilise the arm at its origin - the shoulder blade. ~ Give this a try and see what you notice!
