योजना के तहत 2 मुर्रा भैंसों की एक इकाई (unit) दी जाती है, जिसकी कुल लागत लगभग ₹2,95,000 निर्धारित की गई है (इसमें पशुओं की कीमत, बीमा और परिवहन व्यय शामिल है):
अनुसूचित जाति (SC) एवं जनजाति (ST): 75% अनुदान (लगभग ₹2,21,250 की सरकारी मदद)। हितग्राही को केवल ₹73,750 देने होते हैं।
सामान्य एवं पिछड़ा वर्ग (OBC): 50% अनुदान (लगभग ₹1,47,500 की सरकारी मदद)। हितग्राही को आधे दाम यानी ₹1,47,500 देने होते हैं।
2. पात्रता और शर्तें
आवेदक मध्य प्रदेश का मूल निवासी होना चाहिए।
पशुपालक के पास पहले से पशुपालन का कुछ अनुभव या रुचि होनी चाहिए।
पशुओं को रखने के लिए पर्याप्त जगह (शेड) और पानी की व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए।
3. आवेदन कैसे करें?
इच्छुक व्यक्ति अपने नजदीकी पशु चिकित्सा अधिकारी (Veterinary Office) या जिला पशुपालन विभाग में संपर्क कर सकते हैं।
चयन होने के बाद, हितग्राही को अक्सर हरियाणा (करनाल/रोहतक) ले जाकर उनकी पसंद की भैंसें दिलाई जाती हैं।

MAShraddha Farms, a dairy business started in 2013, is located in the small village of Nighoj in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. It produces and supplies buffalo milk, paneer, and ghee to dairies, retail shops, and customers across India. The business was founded by Shraddha Dhawan, who grew up in Nighoj.
After her 10th-grade exams, Shraddha began helping her father with his cattle trade business during her summer vacations. She would join him on trips to the city, learning how to identify good buffaloes, the criteria for buying them, and how to negotiate the right selling price. Armed with this knowledge and her research, Shraddha decided to start a dairy business using the buffaloes her family already owned.
She began with just seven buffaloes, milking them herself and selling the milk to a local dairy. Over time, Shraddha Farms grew significantly and now has 130 buffaloes. The business expanded beyond milk to include products like ghee, butter, lassi, buttermilk, and curd, all made naturally without additives or artificial flavors.
Shraddha Farms also has a 1-tonne biogas project that generates electricity for the farm and produces slurry (a mix of waste, dung, and urine), which is sold as fertilizer to farmers and agricultural companies. In FY 24, Shraddha Farms earned Rs 1 crore from its dairy products. They have also set up multiple shops near Pune to sell their products directly to customers.
Shraddha runs a training center to help aspiring dairy farmers, having trained over 5,000 people so far. She aims to unite dairy farmers in the future, helping them earn a better livelihood through collaborative efforts.
