One of Sedona’s most iconic hikes ✨ This trail takes you to the largest natural sandstone arch in the area, and the hike to get is just as beautiful! 📍 Trail Details • Distance: 4.2 miles round trip (from the Dry Creek Vista Trailhead) • Elevation Gain: ~564 ft • Difficulty: Moderate • Time: 2–3 hours or more depending on pictures at the arch 🚗 Parking Tips • The main parking lot is at Dry Creek Vista Trailhead, but it fills up fast. Arrive early (before 8am) or go later in the afternoon. • If full, try the Mescal Trailhead (adds ~1 mile each way). • 4x4 vehicles can drive closer via the rough road, cutting the hike to ~2 miles RT. ⚠️ Things to Know • Expect a short rock scramble near the top. • The bridge looks scarier than it feels,it’s actually pretty wide! • Best seasons: spring & fall (summer gets HOT 🌞). • Bring LOTS of water, sun protection, and patience, the photo line can get long which is why it’s best to get there early! 📍Devil’s Bridge Trail Would you cross the bridge or admire it from the side? #sedonaarizona #sedonahikes #sedonahiking #arizona_hiking #thingstodoinarizona #devilsbridge

📍Devil’s bridge, Sedona, Arizona 🇺🇸 It’s no secret that the Devils Bridge Sedona hike is extremely beautiful (and crowded).The hike to Devils Bridge is moderate in difficulty and can be relatively crowded during peak season. To do the hike one needs to purchase a Red Rock Pass, which costs $5 per day or $15 per week. I had America the beautiful pass which worked too. The hike has a distance of 2 miles with a 4x4 and 4.2 miles without a 4x4 vehicle. People who have a 4x4 can park at the trailhead directly, which makes the distance of the hike 2 miles. People who want to get to the car park need to drive on Dry Creek Road. People who don’t have a 4x4, they will have to park their car in the parking lot of the Dry Creek Vista Trail(4.6miles round trip) or Mescal trailhead parking lot.(4.2miles round tripe). I would personally recommend the Mescal trailhead as it has better views along the way. Much of the Devil’s Bridge Trail consists of a gradual climb along a wide, well-maintained route that features a few rocky ledges. On the final ascent to the bridge, you will need to climb two steep and uneven sets of rock stairs. The spot has been an Instagram sensation for years, there have been marriage proposals too here, so don’t expect solitude, is a daily popular hike. Devil’s Bridge Trail via Dry Creek Road 🥾⬇️ 💫 Length- 3.9 miles 💫 Type- Out & back 💫 Elevation gain- 520 ft 💫 Difficulty- Moderate 🦮 Dogs are allowed. Here are some things to know to make the most of it! ⬇️ ▫️The hike itself is relatively easy, although it does have some steeper sections toward the top that require a bit of scrambling. ▫️There are options to start the trail, from Dry Creek road and from the car park trailhead. Whilst one is more scenic, the Dry Creek saves a lot of time. If you have a 4WD you can skip a bit of distance and park at the trailhead (although parking is limited). ▫️START EARLY. This one is a must as it gets busy!!! We were at the bridge around 7am, a little after sunrise and this was perfect. To get your photo on the bridge you have to queue so getting there early means you get the most peaceful experience! ▫️It is not as scary as it looks. Oli did it with no problems but I have am not the best with heights. After debating not doing it I was so glad I did, it’s wider than it looks! BUT, if you’ve hiked it, you’ve seen the MASSIVE CROWDS. I’ve been once where there was a line of like 50 people to take a photo on the bridge- wild. how to avoid it: •hike via mescal trail not dry creek (parking is easier & less people know about it!) •hike at sunrise or sunset (most people are doing other things at this time- trust me it’s worth it!) •spend time under the bridge (no one does this but it’s super cool too!) comment “devils bridge” for my blog post with more details 🏜️✨

Spontaneous sunrise hikes planned hours earlier the day I checked into the campground! A hike I would do again and again it was STUNNING! Go at sunrise! We arrived at 5:30 and the parking lot was empty, by 7:30/8 am it was PACKED Bring plenty of water and a snack to eat at the peak! We took the 4x4 road but the chuck wagon one is much more beautiful the way up and a longer hike! It’s also way more fun to do with your friends!!
