I just don’t care, because trauma doesn’t give you a free pass to hurt people who love you. You don’t get to walk around breaking someone’s heart and then hide behind your problems. You don’t get to disrespect someone’s feelings, cheat on them, and still expect sympathy because your life is sad. No. If anything, you should be even more careful, because you already know what pain feels like. Van needs to actually understand what he did wrong. Not half-understand. Not pretend. He needs to sit with it, take responsibility, and do the work to become better. If he wants Farm, then he has to become someone who DESERVES Farm, and right now, he clearly doesn’t. And honestly, thank God Farm chose himself. He still cares about Van, that’s obvious, but he finally stopped sacrificing himself just to protect someone who kept hurting him. That was the right choice.
