ASI’ve been thinking a lot about the spaces we create to live in.
Ones that are functional, but also actually let us rest and re-energize properly. Not just how long we sleep.
So we changed Bodhi’s room. Moved away from the big chair and went with something much simpler on the floor.
It’s a traditional style futon, just layers of organic cotton, no foam, no synthetics. Underneath is a natural tatami-style mat made from coconut fiber and rush grass, which helps with airflow and keeps things dry.
It feels grounded, simple, and honestly really comfortable.
I’m noticing more and more that when we simplify things, both in the house and in life, everything just feels better.
Still figuring it out as we go, but this feels like a good shift.
