With the Hack It Jacket, you can design your own unique cardigan by making simple adjustments to the basic pattern. The pattern includes various “hacks” that will help you find exactly the expression you want. It can be anything from different yarn options to changes in the construction of the sleeves and neck. Only your imagination sets the limits here.
The basic pattern for the Hack It Jacket is based on a simple raglan construction, but with a slightly more oversized body. It is knitted top down, in Vams from Rauma. First, a ribbed edge is knitted for the neck. Furthermore, German Short Rows are made on the front pieces and raglan increases along the sleeves. Sleeves are worked with decreases and both body and sleeves are finished with ribbed edges. Finally, stitches are picked up in the front to make buttonholes.
