NOYesterday, NOAA’s GOES West (GOES-18) satellite captured this stunning imagery of the eye of Hurricane Kiko as it became a powerful, Category 4 storm over the Pacific Ocean.
Today, the National Hurricane Center says the storm is a little weaker, but could re-intensify as it continues westward, well to the East-Southeast of the Hawaiian Islands. While it is too soon to determine the exact location or magnitude of impacts, the threat of wind and rain from the hurricane is increasing for Hawaii.
